Meet the Founders

Ana Maria Garcia Monegro (right) and Ana Belkys Garcia Monegro (left) were born in the vibrant city of Santiago, Dominican Republic. At the age of two, they both emigrated with their family to the United States, bringing along a rich cultural heritage and an innate passion for creativity.

Ana Maria: In her early years, she was captivated by the worlds of fashion and entrepreneurship, always seeking ways to merge her love for design with innovative business ideas.Ana Maria excelled academically, graduating at the top of her class in high school. This academic success was a testament to her dedication and work ethic, setting the stage for her future endeavors. Driven by a desire to understand and excel in the business world, she pursued a degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics. Her undergraduate studies provided a strong foundation in the principles of business, while her minor equipped her with a keen understanding of economic theory and practice.

Her love for handbags and fashion became a defining aspect of her identity, fueling her desire to merge this passion with a professional career.Throughout her formative years, Ana Belkys demonstrated a keen interest in the business world, particularly in how it intersected with fashion. This interest led her to pursue a degree in International Business and Trade, with a minor in Marketing.
